The Field Farm Project is an exclusive mix of woodland craft, field studies, farm life, horticulture, ancient crafts and technologies – combining to provide a rich and inspirational learning experience.
Brief
Set in a beautiful rural location near Alton, the Field Farm project is the ideal place to run these nature-based courses. Its owners, Mollie and Nick are a delight to work with, with a real passion for what they do.
When I first worked with them, they needed a website to grow the business and let people know about the amazing things they do at Field Farm.
Inspiration
The design needed to draw inspiration from their woodland surroundings. On meeting Nick I discovered he was an illustrator. It made perfect sense to commission him to illustrate leaves from the trees they work with and surround themselves within, every day.
Approach
I used the illustrations to update their logo and designed the website around this, using complimentary colours and background. Images and photographs of their work also feature heavily in the designs.
Result
The website is both a showcase for the baskets they make and sell and the craft courses you can book online. A very talented couple.

Since my original website design they have expanded their offering into woven basket coffins. I have created new pages around this.
I have also designed their new McMillen Art website to showcase and sell their art and weave work. See the project here.
