Visit Petersfield
Visit Petersfield! I was invited by Stephen Field of the Town Council to pitch for the Petersfield tourism website, this was back in Feburary 2020. Myself and Clive from Cookson Design decided to combine our expertise and where delighted to win the account, I was over the moon to be working with Clive an experienced designer and web builder but also to be working on my local towns website too.
Brief
To produce a user friendly website for the town of Petersfield. to encourage tourism to the area.
Inspiration
Myself and Clive interviewed a selection of people born and breed in Petersfield. Although we are both fans and residents of Petersfield it was great to get others thoughts too. This started off our inspiration for the project. Its not difficult to sell petersfield as a location it truly is amazing place, countryside, culture and more.
Approach
We wanted the website to be approachable, friendly and easy to use/navigate. Using the main brand colours for the logo, headers and footer, added a hint of South Downs national park, then added a colourful palette to help navigate around the different sections of the website.
Result
I’m delighted to see it LIVE and in action, my design work was complete on the project last September, but I know the rest of the team have been busy working so hard to complete and build and promote it up to now.
